Joshua Tree National Park Picnic

Come along with us to an enchanted land high in the Mojave Desert north of Palm Springs—a fascinating region where bizarre rock formations, surreal landscapes, and ancient twisting Joshua trees interact to form a pattern of stark beauty and ever-changing complexity. This sightseeing excursion involves visits to several points of interest within the National Park. You'll enjoy an included picnic lunch at Hidden Valley, where daring rock climbers are usually seen scaling the granite monoliths ringing the valley. Marvel at the vista extending over the Coachella Valley to the Salton Sea and beyond to Mexico from Keys View Lookout, and learn of the region’s unusual plant life when you join your Tour Manager for an easy nature walk at Cap Rock. Plus, we’ll be joined by knowledgeable step-on guide Isabel Sánchez to discover facts and stories about our surroundings, and stop at the park’s Visitor Center for an interpretive look at the area’s rich natural and cultural history.

- Turkey & Havarti Cheese Sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, on sliced sourdough

- Ham & Swiss Cheese Sadndwich with lettuce, tomatoes, on sliced sourdough

- Pesto Roast Beef Sandwich with arugula and tomatoes on sliced sourdough w/pesto mayo on the side

- Vegetarian & Havarti Cheese Sandwich with smashed avocado, red peppers, cucumber, lettuce, red onion, tomatoes on sliced multigrain, w/ sun-dried tomato spread & balsamic vinaigrette on the side

- Spring Salad with spiced walnuts, feta cheese, dried cranberries, granny smith apples, and balsamic dressing on the side

All condiments are on the side. Boxed sandwich lunch includes bagged chips and a fresh baked cookie, with bottled water provided to drink.

14-Day Cancellation Deadline

• If you purchased the optional Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) prior to the deadline, you can cancel your booking at any time for any reason and you'll receive a full refund of the tour fare.

• If you declined the CPP, you may cancel your reservation fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date to receive a refund less a $15 per person cancellation fee. Alternatively, when you cancel your booking fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date, you can avoid the cancellation fee by transferring the funds to another tour or a non-refundable voucher, which can be applied to any future excursion booked within one year of the original tour date. Bookings canceled within 14 days of the departure date are nonrefundable and nontransferable for any reason. Name changes on daytrips are always permitted at no additional cost.
