Experience the recreation of Bob Hope, the McGuire Sisters, Bing Crosby and the Andrew Sisters when you travel with us to the Palm Springs Air Museum to see Remembering the USO – a lighthearted tribute to those wonderful USO Shows that lifted the spirits of America’s troops and their families. Bob Hope performed his first USO Show at nearby March Field in 1941 and continued the tradition of entertaining our troops until 1990 when he performed in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain on his final tour. During World War II the Andrew Sisters entertained the Allied forces extensively in America, Africa and Italy, visiting Army, Navy, Marine and Coast Guard bases, war zones, hospitals and munitions factories. Bing Crosby wowed the troops with his most popular song, “White Christmas,” while the McGuire Sisters, with their number one hits “Sincerely” and “Sugartime,” toured for nine months with the organization. So join us in Remembering the USO on this nostalgic trip to the Palm Springs Air Museum. Prior to the show you’ll enjoy free time to explore the Museum and have lunch on your own or, for an additional $20, join your tour director for a delicious gourmet luncheon at the beautiful Palm Springs Hilton Hotel.

Limited walking or walking and mobility is at own pace, and leisurely free time may be included. Few stairs are involved and elevators are usually present at destinations.
