For just one day each year, the small town of Sierra Madre celebrates its biggest claim to fame: being home to the world-famous Wistaria Vine, the largest blossoming plant in the world. Join us at the 100th annual Wistaria Vine Festival which began in 1918 and draws thousands of visitors each year for the rare opportunity to marvel at this beautiful Wistaria Vine in all its springtime splendor. Named as one of the seven horticultural wonders of the world and displayed on arbors spanning two private residential properties, this incredible vine is over 100 years old and boasts over a million fragrant lavender blossoms. Following your tour through this natural wonder, enjoy the fun village festivities that include arts and crafts booths, local organization and merchant booths, live music, food vendors and restaurants, where you’ll have time for lunch on your own.
