Tour Fare: $115

Embark on a day trip that takes you from the refreshing pine forests and brilliant lavender lilacs in the mountains of Julian to the colorful wildflower blossoms and incredible giant metal sculptures on the low desert floor of Borrego Springs. Your tour begins with a stop at the famous Dudley’s Bakery in Santa Ysabel for an opportunity to purchase fresh baked specialties and browse their wonderful gift shop. Then, it’s on to the quaint former gold mining town of Julian, where you’ll have time on your own for lunch, shopping and a slice of famous Julian apple pie. Next, we descend into Borrego Springs to seek out the most colorful wildflower blossoms and visit some of artist Ricardo Breceda’s fascinating giant metal sculptures of prehistoric creatures. We’ll also stop at the Borrego Springs Visitor Center and Museum.
