SkySpace Observation Deck

“We experienced Los Angeles’ newest major attraction on a fascinating excursion to Skyspace L.A.! Located close to 1,000 feet above downtown near the top of the U.S. Bank Tower, Skyspace is the tallest open-air observation deck in the state, offering visitors a unique, 360-degree view of the city. Skyspace also honors the culture and people of L.A. through a guided experience of multiple interactive technology exhibits, including an illusory infinity mirror that appears to look down through the core of the building. Several of our passengers were even brave enough to ride the skyslide – a glass slide suspended from the side of the building the descends from the 70th floor to the 69th! We also visited the L.A. Central Library, where we embarked on a docent guided tour of this treasured L.A. landmark. The art and architecture of this 1926 Goodhue Building with its rooftop pyramid and 8-story atrium complete with whimsical chandelier are nothing short of magnificent. We also enjoyed lunch at the historic Clifton’s Cafeteria in downtown L.A.”
